What else do you need when launching a new food product in the supermarkets?

school project…i have come up with a new healthy food snack for kids. Where i have designed the package its in and the design of it (label and box etc) just trying to think of some areas i can expand the project? in branding and marketing it etc

What would be good information or things to have when launching a new product? I was thinking having a flyer telling customers more about the product..such as nutritional information etc and where the food has come from. also maybe a poster showing the distribution channels of my product and how to recycle it?

any one got any other suggestions? would be much appreciated…
Thanks

You’ve got all the basics covered: Packaging, nutritional information, branding and marketing. Remember that certain things are required by law on the package such as nutritional info, allergen info, trans-fat info etc. Its also nice to add customer service info on packaging.

handing out samples. Always a positive. It is the easiest way to get people to try your product. You want them to eat it so give them a chance to try it. Handing out samples in super markets or specialty stores is a good spot to start.
